Concerns

Does any of this sound familiar?

After leaving the hospital, rehab sessions became less frequent and physical decline is a worry
Insurance-covered rehabilitation ended when the coverage period ran out
Traveling to a clinic is hard, so rehabilitation has fallen by the wayside
Twenty-minute sessions never feel like enough
Family can't accompany you to appointments on weekdays
You want to go out on your own two feet again

If even one of these rings true, home-visit private rehabilitation — no commuting required — may be the answer.

Your therapist

A nationally licensed professional

Kazuya Matsumoto Occupational Therapist · CEO, Iris Link Co., Ltd.

After qualifying as an occupational therapist, he chose community day-service care over hospital work, building his career in community healthcare. A year spent living in Iceland also gave him first-hand exposure to rehabilitation practice abroad.

Beyond physical training, he draws on the occupational-therapy perspective to advise on everyday habits — meals, bathing, housework — so the benefits of rehabilitation take root in daily life.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Q.What conditions can you help with?
A.We support a wide range of needs: stroke after-effects, Parkinson's disease, joint pain, and age-related walking concerns. Tell us about your situation first.
Q.Can I use this alongside insurance-covered rehabilitation?
A.Yes. Private-pay services sit outside the public insurance framework, so the two can be combined.
Q.Do I have to wait until insured rehab ends?
A.No. You can start at any stage, in parallel with your current rehabilitation.
Q.Do I need to prepare anything?
A.Nothing special — just comfortable clothing. The therapist brings any equipment needed.
Q.Do you speak English?
A.Our therapist speaks Japanese, so sessions are conducted in Japanese. In practice this works well with a translation app, or with a Japanese-speaking family member, friend, or sponsor present. Written inquiries in English are welcome at k-matsumoto@irislink.co.jp — we reply using translation.
U.S. Military & Visitors

For U.S. military families and international visitors

Stationed at Camp Zama or in the Yokosuka area? Visiting Japan and need to keep up your rehabilitation? Our nationally licensed occupational therapist comes to your home, base housing, or hotel for private one-on-one sessions.

Sessions are conducted in Japanese. Rehabilitation is hands-on work, and clients find it goes smoothly with a translation app, or with a Japanese-speaking family member, friend, or sponsor present. Written inquiries in English are welcome — we reply using translation.
